by Tim Church AVA, Mo. – A Mountain Grove man is killed in a single vehicle crash early this (Thursday) morning, 10 miles east of Ava in Douglas County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 67-year-old James Szura was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 at 3 a.m., when his vehicle ran off of the roadway and struck a tree.
