City Resolves Support for Animal Care Partnership

HOLLISTER, Mo. – The City of Hollister agrees to participate in the development of a new Taney County Animal Care Partnership, with the goal of creating a sustainable strategy for animal care and control services.

Aldermen have approved a resolution stating the city’s desire to support and work with other city and county partners to this end.

City Administrator Rick Ziegenfuss says the partnership is needed because Taney County Animal Control is in the process of transitioning to a different format, and the county health department may not be operating animal control after January:
