BRANSON, Mo. – As of approximately 12 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017, the City of Branson established an emergency proclamation signed by Mayor Karen Best. This proclamation was made in anticipation of potential flooding expected to occur as water is released from the Table Rock Dam by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the next 24-48 hours.

Thunderstorms are expected to approach the Branson area late Friday evening with heavy rainfall expected through Sunday. Since lake levels are already high at Beaver, Tablerock, Taneycomo and Bull Shoals lakes and ground is saturated from recent rainfall, the …read more
