Lawrence Co. to Participate in St. Patrick’s Day Holiday Crackdown

MOUNT VERNON, Mo. – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office announces they will be out in full force during the St. Patrick’s Day Holiday “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” substance-impaired driving crackdown.

This crackdown will run from March 16th to 19th, and will include high-visibility enforcement, high-profile events and will be supported by national paid advertising.

Lawrence County Sheriff Brad DeLay shares in 2016, 179 people were killed and 643 seriously injured on Missouri roadways in crashes that involved at least one substance-impaired driver, which works out to approximately one substance-impaired driver involved facility every two …read more
