Man Honored for Saving Girl’s Life in Dog Attack

FORSYTH, Mo. – The Taney County Commission presents a certificate of heroism to a local man who helped save a girl’s life when she was attacked by pit bulls last month.

Scott West heard the screams of his T Highway neighbor, 11-year-old Amanda Prichard, and was able to get the dogs off of her.

Presiding Commissioner Mike Scofield presented West with the certificate during the regular commission meeting this week…
