Two People Injured in Douglas County ATV Crash

DORA, Mo. – Two people suffer moderate injuries in an ATV crash Monday night, eight miles northwest of Dora in Douglas County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 36-year-old Russell Williams of Drury was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 at 9 p.m., when the ATV he was operating travelled off of the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Russell was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains to be treated for their moderate injuries. A passenger on the ATV, 23-year-old Brittany Birdsong of Springfield, was transported to Cox South Hospital in …read more
